Help with Finding Accommodation

Sadly most accommodation providers in the UK still operate a ‘no dogs’ policy meaning that homeless dogs owners are denied access to the shelter and support they so desperately need, simply because they have a dog.

The Hope Project has been running its Welcoming Dogs scheme for more than 20 years, working with hostels and housing providers to encourage them to accept clients with dogs.

We keep an online directory of hostels which accept dogs, making it easier to find your local dog-friendly hostel.

For those looking for pet-friendly accommodation in the private rented sector, Dogs Trust has also run its Lets with Pets scheme since 2009, providing advice and resources for tenants with pets.
